[infinispan-dev] 5.1.0.ALPHA2

Galder Zamarreno
Hi,

5.1.0.ALPHA2 is scheduled for Monday, 19th of September. There's quite a few JIRAs still open: http://goo.gl/ufhFF

Please go through them and if you're deferring anything, please reply.

Cheers,

Manik Surtani
I'm hoping to see some of the state transfer/rehash stuff as well as the JTA refactoring pieces here.  :)

Eduardo Martins
Is there hope for https://issues.jboss.org/browse/ISPN-1115 in this release?

IDK.  Vladimir?  :-)  Even an "early" version would be great …

Yep, I could probably also start giving feedback about it right away.

Re: [infinispan-dev] 5.1.0.ALPHA2

Vladimir Blagojevic
Eduardo,

I am still working on this feature. It will not make into ALPHA2 but it
should be ready for ALPHA3.

Regards,
Vladimir

Randall Hauch is too, as is Kapil Nayar (when speaking about his MultiMap use case).  I think the FineGrainedMaps will become a popular feature.

The Optimistic Locking stuff is not there yet: I had to do some significant changes to the original design, mainly around auto commit transactions and invocation contexts. I have about 50 failures now, once I get it down to 25 I'll issue the pull request and work on the test fixes in parallel so that we can speed up the integration process.
